Silviya de Boer, Attorney- at- Law, Master of Laws /Consultant/
Silviya de Boer, Attorney- at- Law graduated in 1993 from the Еnglish Language School "Geo Milev" in Burgas and in 1998 from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" majoring in Law with specialization in International Law and International Relations. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Burgas Bar Association. Before that she had been working as a lawyer within the government. She has worked and specialized in The Netherlands and the UK. Silviya de Boer has many specializations in the field of international public law and international private law. In 2016 she completed a course on National Protection of citizens according to the standarts of the European Convention of Human Rights, Center for Lawyers’ training "Krastyo Tsonchev", Sofia. In 2017 she participated in a seminar- qualification on the Legal Challenges Post Brexit at the British Academy, London, and in a seminar- qualification on Implementation of Judgements of the European Court of Human Rights : opportunities and challenges for the Rule of law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, London.
Over the last couple of years she has been specializing in the law of England and Wales, the international family and inheritance law, children’s rights with an international element.
She is fluent in Bulgarian, English and Dutch languages, and has a working knowledge of French and Russian.
